The community owned hotel was established in 1908 and is a central meeting space for locals and tourists to the area. The redevelopment will breathe new life into the hotel whilst keeping true to the history of the establishment. The modern design draws on the rich local heritage of the agriculture industry and migrants to the Riverland, with a strong focus on the citrus fruits, landscape, industrial materials, and post-WW2 structures of Loxton.
